You Manage Your Business. We'll Manage your Cloud Server.

PRMWD Cloud Server with a managed service level extends our world-class managed services from our Managed Hosting offering to the PRMWD Server Cloud. This offer provides an additional level of support on PRMWD Cloud Servers, which includes monitoring, operating system and application infrastructure layer support, and technical guidance.

  • Monitoring

Choose up to four ping, port, or URL content monitors. Configure custom ports or additional IPs for monitoring. Alerts will be sent to your dedicated, 24x7x365 support team, who will take first responder action.

  • OS/Application Support

Key operating systems and applications offered with 24x7x365 support (includes updates and patches)

  • PRMWD Cloud Cerver Specialists

We have full insight into your environment, and can help you plan for future growth and maximize your current cloud environment. You still have full admin access and control of your server.

  • More Features for PRMWD Cloud Servers

    • Xen hypervisor for Linux and XenServer for Windows.
    • Storage is RAID-10 protected for superior performance and durability. If a host failure should occur, we bring it back and your data is preserved.
    • For Linux distributions, every Server gets four virtual CPUs.
    • For Windows distributions, each PRMWD Cloud Server is assigned a number of virtual cores based on the size of the Server.
    • No oversubscription. Reserved RAM and storage.
    • SAS 70 Type II - pertains to the managed hosting customers, PRMWD Cloud Server and PRMWD Cloud File customers and all data centers.
    • API File Injection - put a file directly into the file system so that it’s accessible inside the instance. It could be a license file — whatever you need.
    • Separate public and private network interfaces. Private bandwidth is free and provides inter- Server communication as well as access to Files.
    • Snapshot based server images—scheduled or on-demand. Useful for creating "gold" images or backups.
    • Support for multiple public IP addresses.
    • Shared IPs for high-availability configurations using standard failover tools.
    • Linux distribution or Windows image of your choice.
    • Web-based console access. Access your server if there is a boot or network problem.
    • Bootable rescue mode. File system access to repair a troubled Cloud Server.
    • Combine Dedicated Servers and Cloud PRMWD Server to match your compute needs with the hybrid hosting option.

The Technologies Behind Cloud Servers

From the command line, you'll find that PRMWD Cloud Server look and act much like the traditional servers you may be using now. However, some key technologies make Cloud Servers™ much more flexible than hardware devices.

The Virtualization Layer

Each PRMWD Cloud Server is a virtual machine abstracted from the hardware. We use a software hypervisor with proven performance, reliability, scalability, and security. Launching a new Cloud Server happens in minutes since we only need to start up a virtual machine on already running hardware. Virtualization also allows Cloud Servers™ to be moved easily or even resized for more CPU and memory.

CPU Bursting

All PRMWD Cloud Servers™ come with a certain amount of guaranteed CPU power based on the size of the servers you create. However, at times when there's extra CPU power available from the host hardware, we take advantage of it, providing your workloads extra processing power without any additional cost to you.

In-Place Resizing

Scaling up your PRMWD Cloud Server is simple–you don't need to reinstall anything. With the click of a mouse or simple API call, your PRMWD Cloud Server is momentarily taken offline, the RAM, disk space and CPU allotment are adjusted, and the server is restarted. The entire process is automated and takes just a few minutes.

What are PRMWD Cloud Servers?

PRMWD Cloud Servers  is an affordable easy to use cloud computing infrastructure.
Each  server is a fully-customizable, pay by the hour, virtualized server instance that a user can launch, maintain, and control with full root access. Users can get started with  Servers with a few steps in a matter of minutes

Imagine being able to provision a server in minutes. To upgrade it automatically. To bring servers up and down as needed. Totally customizable, each  Server gives users full root access to the Linux distribution of choice. Users pay depending on how large a server they use.

Based on Xen Virtualization technology, PRMWD Cloud Servers brings the power of the cloud to the traditional server hosting based model. Just like a dedicated server, a PRMWD Server provides total flexibility to run anything from a Java website to a Ruby on Rails application.

 PRMWD Cloud Servers SLA

PRMWD Cloud Servers Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Please note this SLA does not apply to the beta release of PRMWD Cloud Servers for Windows

The PRMWD Cloud provides the same guaranty for Cloud Servers as PRMWD does for traditional hosted servers. Specifically:

Network We guaranty that our data center network will be available 100% of the time in any given monthly billing period, excluding scheduled maintenance.

Data Center Infrastructure We guaranty that data center HVAC and power will be functioning 100% of the time in any given monthly billing period, excluding scheduled maintenance. Infrastructure downtime exists when PRMWD Cloud Servers downtime occurs as a result of power or heat problems.

Cloud Server Hosts We guaranty the functioning of all cloud server hosts including compute, storage, and hypervisor. If a cloud server host fails, we guaranty that restoration or repair will be complete within one hour of problem identification.

Migration If a cloud server migration is required because of cloud server host degradation, we will notify you at least 24 hours in advance of beginning the migration, unless we determine in our reasonable judgment, that we must begin the migration sooner to protect your cloud server data. Either way, we guaranty that the migration will be complete within three hours of the time that we begin the migration.

Credits If we fail to meet a guaranty stated above, you will be eligible for a credit. Credits will be calculated as a percentage of the fees for the cloud servers adversely affected by the failure for the current monthly billing period during which the failure occurred (to be applied at the end of the billing cycle), as follows:

Network: Five percent (5%) of the fees for each 30 minutes of network downtime, up to 100% of the fees.

Data Center Infrastructure: Five percent (5%) of fees for each 30 minutes of infrastructure downtime, up to 100% of the fees.

PRMWD Cloud Server Hosts: Five percent (5%) of the fees for each additional hour of downtime, up to 100% of the fees;

Migration: Five percent (5%) of the fees for each additional hour of downtime, up to 100% of the fees.
